Sweetness

Not sweet at all. 

Very sweet, sugary taste.

Fruit

The taste is not associated with any particular fruit flavor.

Tastes a lot like some kind of fruit such as blackberries, pears,  etc.

Oak/Butter

No bitter oakiness or buttery flavor.

Strong oak or butter flavor. 

Aroma

Very light or little aroma.

Strong, rich, complex aroma.

Body

Light or thin (like skim milk).

Thick and creamy (like whole milk or cream).

Tannin

No leathery sensation on the tongue.

Dry, leathery sensation on the tongue. Feels like you bit into a grape seed.

Acidity

No noticeable tartness.

Tart, crisp sensation.
