High End Italian Wine Tasting - Thursday, May 8

Do you love Italian Wines? Dolce Vita will be hosting a special one night only tasting of high-end Italian wines with Lukas Peters from importer and wholesaler Domace Vino on Thursday, May 8 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM.

Our 1.5 liter 1996 Barbaresco will be open for tasting and on sale for $49.95 (Reglarly $69.95). We will also be tasting Barbera, Brachetto and Nebbiolo d'Alba. If you like Italian wines, or just want to learn more about them, you won't want to miss this free event.

Friday, May 9 - Let's go south of the Equator and sample some of our favorite wines from South Africa and Australia!

Friday, Mat 16 – Wendy from Cat & Fiddle will be sampling unique wines and port from small producers from around the world!

Wednesday, May 21 – Don’t miss the Taste of Chaska – Dolce Vita will have a presence in City Square Park (see if you can spot us!), and a special Minnesota theme wine tasting at the shop.

Thursday, May 22 – Syrah Class – Anna Katherine will be back for a one night only Syrah class. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the many faces of this extraordinary grape varietal. The class will run from 7 to 9 PM, and costs $25. Call 952-361-0044 for reservations. Class size will be limited to 15 participants.

Friday, May 23 – Taste some newly released, award winning Fair Trade wines with Brian from Etica. Drink well while doing good.

Friday, May 30 – Taste wines from around the world with Tom from Quality Wines and Spirits.

Saturday, May 31 – Dust off your bicycle for a Winery Ride to Crofut Family Winery and Vineyards in Jordan! We will start at 1 PM at Get Your Gear Outfitters in Chaska, and ride 19 miles to this historic farm and vineyard. Meet the winemaker Don Crofut, tour the vineyard and sample some wine (but not too much, since the return trip is also 19 miles). We end the ride at Dolce Vita Wine Shop for a free barbeque and wine tasting.
